My Job as a Mermaid
For over a decade, Lindsey Walbert has been enchanting audiences as a mermaid at exclusive events for A-list celebrities. After immersing herself in the world of professional divers and even making a cameo in a documentary about them back in 2005, Walbert was inspired to dive into a new venture - creating a business around a silicone mermaid tail. The development of this unique product required an investment of $20,000. Thankfully, with the help of a friend from Hollywood, Walbert was able to bring the stunning mermaid tail design to life.
