Love traveling by car in search of adventures and interesting places? When it comes to staying overnight in nature, do you often wonder whether to sleep in your car or a tent? Well, that dilemma is now a thing of the past, thanks to "Heimplanet," a popular manufacturer of outdoor gear and equipment that has come up with a solution.
"AUDI" Camping Tent for Car Camping
Renowned German automaker "AUDI," in collaboration with "Heimplanet," has introduced the "Camping Tent" for car camping. This innovative tent, when folded, fits snugly in the car's trunk, leaving ample space for other essential items. Now, Audi owners can always have a garage on the go.
It resembles the 2-person and 3-person tents from the same company but with the added feature of accommodating your car. This inflatable car garage takes the form of a dome-shaped tent that can house a "crossover" like the Audi Q3 Quattro. Plus, with just a few simple steps, the tent can be transformed into a sunshade for added protection against UV rays.
According to the creators, this tent can shield your vehicle from adverse weather conditions anywhere on earth, including strong winds (up to 70 km/h), hurricanes, acid rain, and intense sunlight, among others.
Plus, it can be set up in just 7 minutes without the need for special skills or tools. All you need to do is inflate it using the pump included in the package. Products from "Heimplanet" are unique in that they are entirely inflatable, showcasing high quality, simplicity, and resilience to nature's whims. This brand has gained recognition worldwide for its innovative offerings. In the latter part of 2014, Audi enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase this garage.
Inflatable Garage by "Cargraphic"
Surprisingly, "AUDI" wasn't the first to introduce inflatable garages; other companies ventured into this space before them. One notable company is "Cargraphic," known for its focus on preserving a vehicle's aesthetics throughout its lifespan.
This firm leads the way in innovative car covers that not only provide protection but also snugly fit the vehicle, preventing oxygen and moisture infiltration. The covers are crafted from a multi-layered material that is non-combustible and nearly indestructible.
For drivers concerned about safeguarding their vehicles from scratches, environmental hazards, theft, and harsh weather, the company has designed an inflatable garage, essentially a multifunctional chamber. The structure features inflatable walls that shield the vehicle from external elements.
This design utilizes polymer systems that can withstand significant impacts, making the garage puncture-proof and resistant to damage. While it doesn't stretch, the garage conforms to standard sizes of passenger vehicles. Equipped with a reliable lock, installation takes approximately five minutes.
"CarCapsule" - Protective Capsule for Vehicles
Another inflatable garage option is the "CarCapsule," made from durable PVC measuring just 0.25 mm thick. PVC is antistatic and fire-resistant, protecting vehicles from fuel, oil, and other substances. The installation involves situating the base on the floor and driving the vehicle onto it before zipping it closed. An internal fan inflates the capsule, ensuring no contact with the vehicle, with continuous airflow due to the fan.
The "CarCapsule" costs around $300 to $500, depending on size. Aside from garages for cars and SUVs, manufacturers also offer capsules for motorcycles and boats.
Inflatable Hangar for Heavy Machinery
There are inflatable garages designed for heavy machinery like bulldozers. This pneumatic hangar consists of separate parts called pneumatic bladders, equipped with a check valve forming an integrated pneumatic system. The compressor, with pressure monitoring relays, maintains pressure, ensuring structural stability.
Advantages of this system include:
- Maintaining structural integrity even if one or more bladders are faulty until repairs are made.
- Easy replacement of damaged components.
- Stable position retention during power outages, allowing time for troubleshooting.
In its compact form, transportation requires just a small truck, such as a "Gazelle," due to the hangar's compact packaging and lightweight design.
Unlike traditional structures, inflatable constructions do not need special foundation preparation. Crafted from high-quality, dense reinforced PVC material, these hangars are versatile, weather-resistant, and can withstand wind speeds up to 40 m/s.
Given our region's temperature variations throughout the year, inflatable structures like these are bound to attract consumers. They will appeal to everyday drivers looking to protect their vehicles, although acquiring or renting a garage can be costly. Additionally, construction companies seeking storage solutions for their equipment in harsh climates will find inflatable hangars particularly appealing. Since this concept isn't widely prevalent in the domestic market, it presents a lucrative business opportunity.
