After numerous hours spent working on the computer, the body tends to get extremely fatigued. The company Altwork has created a workstation that allows individuals to spend time on their PC in a comfortable position. The primary consumers of this product are developers, writers, and other professionals whose job requires prolonged screen time.

Features

The device offers four adjustable positions controlled by a remote. The mode switch panel is located on the left side of the desk. The product provides the following options:

  • Vertical position for standing work;
  • Collaborative mode;
  • Focusing;
  • Standard position.

For collaborative tasks, the shared feature allows for rotating the screen positioned on a movable stand. The focusing function is designed to create comfortable conditions by reclining the chair's backrest to form a chair-bed structure. This device enables users to change positions while working, reducing strain on the body.

Although the primary engineering idea was to create a device with various modes for efficiently tackling different tasks at work, the unique concept had no previous equivalents. According to the company, the ability to see things from a different perspective significantly enhances the cognitive process.

The key challenge during development was the necessity to reduce the space occupied by the chair to the standard size of a workstation. This goal was not fully achieved in the focusing mode, making it difficult to envision the product's popularity in office buildings.

The device's nonconformity, production costs, and additional expenses have been the main reasons for the high price of this versatile chair. The initial buyers can purchase the product for $3,900. Subsequent sales will be conducted at $5,900 per unit.

By the way, how do you feel about the idea of opening your own furniture store?

Do you have friends or acquaintances who spend a significant amount of time on the computer? Share this article with them. Perhaps this device will help them work more comfortably and efficiently during their work hours.
