BMW Vision Next 100: The Future of Automotive Innovation
Celebrating its centennial anniversary, the renowned automotive company BMW introduces the concept car BMW Vision Next 100. This groundbreaking vehicle embodies BMW's vision for the next century of automobiles, combining past experience with forward-thinking design.
The Design: "Living Geometry"
The exterior of the car is crafted in a design known as "living geometry," featuring dynamic triangles covering many surfaces both internally and externally. The car's shape is incredibly sleek and elegant. Beyond its impressive aesthetics, the Vision Next 100 is packed with new technologies and features.
One notable feature is the option to switch between two driving modes: Boost and Ease. In Boost mode, drivers can enjoy manual control, guided by information displayed on the windshield regarding speed, turns, and objects on the road.
While the technology of a large projected windshield display may not be widely adopted yet, BMW is confident that it will play a significant role in the future of automotive technology. When feeling fatigued or desiring a safe interaction with passengers, the Ease mode transforms the car into autopilot. The driver's seat rotates towards passengers, and the display projects entertainment or necessary information.
The supercar's dimensions are impressive, with a length of 4.9 meters and a height of 1.3 meters. Its drag coefficient stands at 0.18. Notably, the creators of the Vision Next 100 prioritized eco-friendliness by constructing the car from renewable and recycled materials.
