History of Burtin Urethane Corp.
ver its 20-year history, the LIneX developer achieved incredible milestones:
- 1982 - Establishment of Burtin Urethane Corp. in Santa Ana, California.
- 1983 - Formation of alliances with key suppliers: Dow, DuPont, BASF.
- 1988 - Invention of the first protective coating.
- 1990 - US Coast Guard uses the protective spray for rescue boats.
- 1993 - LIneX becomes a division of Burtin Urethane Corp. On April 2, Carlos Burtin, the founder, becomes the first president of LIneX. LIneX expands to Canada.
- 1999 - Scott Gevet joins LIneX to launch the National Franchise Program.
