Embracing the Remote Work Lifestyle in North America
With the rise of remote work, more and more people are opting to work via the internet. This method of earning a living comes with numerous benefits: no time wasted on commuting from home to an office, no mood dampened by crowded public transport, and the flexibility to plan your workday. Even a young mother can engage in home-based work. However, there are downsides as well. One significant challenge of freelancing is the lack of a peaceful work environment at home. In such cases, a personal office can come to the rescue, but this costly option may not be accessible to everyone. If having your own office is financially unfeasible, consider looking into coworking spaces. They offer the opportunity to rent part of an office.
Recently, unique workspaces for freelancers have been emerging, resembling coworking spaces but allowing individuals to immerse themselves in completely different atmospheres. For example, an office trailer in the forest or a catamaran coworking space. There are even sleeping pods in public places, as we all know how crucial rest is for any worker.
The Coboat Project
The Coboat project, originating in London, is a modernized sailing catamaran. It can accommodate up to 20 passengers who wish to break free from routine, experience new thrilling emotions, and add some variety to their lives. The catamaran provides residents with living quarters, leisure amenities, and internet access, all while crossing the seas and oceans of the world. Working and exploring the world is what the creators of the Coboat project offer.
The 82-foot Coboat catamaran is self-sustainable, using desalinated water and obtaining electricity through wind and solar energy. Thanks to innovative technologies onboard, the project is environmentally safe. Unlimited internet in the open sea is made possible through satellite communications, while 3G and 4G technologies are used along the coast.
A friendly and collaborative atmosphere prevails aboard the catamaran. Exchange of experiences and cooperation among passengers are encouraged. Each day, new experiences will keep you engaged, and interactions with people from different parts of the world will offer insights into local traditions and customs, expanding your horizons. The catamaran is equipped with a wide range of marine recreational amenities, so every resident can go fishing, engage in underwater photography, or diving.
The catamaran's route is quite extensive, starting from a Thai port, visiting Sri Lanka, Turkey, the Canary Islands, Morocco, and other fascinating locations. The next destination planned is the Caribbean islands.
A week's stay on the catamaran starts at 980 euros per person. The cost includes three meals a day, port fees, accommodation in a shared cabin, and equipment for water sports. Surely, among your acquaintances, there are people who would find this living arrangement on a catamaran intriguing. Share this article with them on social media.
