Off-Road Vehicle "Taurus 2x2"

Embark on conquering rough terrains with the all-wheel-drive motorized ATV "Taurus 2x2." This compact motorcycle, designed and manufactured in Kaluga, excels in tackling potholes, mud, and shallow water bodies. It's a favorite among hunting and fishing enthusiasts as well as all lovers of outdoor adventures. The high cross-country ability of the "Taurus" is guaranteed by its wide low-pressure tires measuring 60x30 cm. The 2x2 wheel configuration, in itself unconventional, makes the ATV lightweight and reliable, allowing for easy maneuvering through any obstacles.

Technical Features of the Motorized ATV

The vehicle is equipped with a 4-stroke gasoline engine with a displacement of 210 cubic cm and a power output of 7 horsepower. The "Taurus 2x2" can reach a maximum speed of up to 38 km/h and weighs 82 kg.

The "Taurus 2x2" can also overcome snow cover up to 45 cm deep. The ATV does not have shock absorbers; in extremely challenging terrain, the driver must use their feet to push off the ground, thanks to the saddle being positioned at a convenient height.

One key feature of the "Taurus 2x2" is its easy disassembly, achievable in just 5 minutes without much effort. Simply detach the front fork, remove the handlebar, seat, luggage carrier, and wheels. All these parts can then be easily accommodated in a car trunk. Removing the fork requires unscrewing just one bolt and is already patented by designers as a quick-release mechanism.

Following certification scheduled for November 2016, the ATV will rightfully be classified as a Self-Propelled Machine. For now, the "Taurus 2x2" is available for sale solely as a sporting accessory priced at $2,000.
