However, even with just a snorkel, dive time is significantly reduced, limiting the ability to explore vast underwater spaces. German developers at Cayago AG, in collaboration with Porsche, have addressed this issue.

Seabob – A Game-Changer in Diving

eabob allows for swift movement on the water and diving at a relatively fast pace. It resembles a small torpedo with an electric motor inside. Water is sucked in through the front of the device via a wheel with blades and ejected at high pressure from the other end, propelling it forward. Divers control steering by shifting their body. Seabob features buttons near the handles to adjust speed and a display showing speed, battery charge, depth, and water temperature.

o stop, simply release it, and the motor automatically shuts off. The scooter has a 5 hp power output, enabling it to move at speeds of 20 km/h on the surface and 12 km/h underwater. For perspective, a person taking a deep breath and diving can swim up to 300 meters underwater.
