The possibilities of technology and materials make the impossible possible. Not falling behind in this regard is the company Orkin Design, which has unveiled its concept – Roll top.

A Game Changer in Computer Technology

oll top is a laptop that can literally be rolled up like a scroll. This became possible thanks to a 17-inch OLED display. One half becomes the monitor, the other the keyboard. In its fully expanded form, Roll top can be a tablet or a full-fledged 17" screen that can be placed on a special stand. The laptop rolls up onto a cylindrical base. Moreover, this base serves not only as a storage and carrying device but also houses a speaker, USB ports, and a stylus holder.

According to the developers at Orkin Design, the problem with all existing portable computers today is that they are either too small and inconvenient or too bulky. The idea was to create a laptop that would not be small yet still convenient for transportation. Thanks to OLED technologies, this idea was brought to life. The Roll top is lightweight and compact when rolled up, making it not only convenient for transport but also not lacking in technical specifications compared to standard laptops. The only downside of Roll top is that when rolled up, it can only be turned off; however, the developers are working to address this limitation.
