How to Obtain Water Using Solar Energy

How does it work?

To simplify the concept behind Source, imagine a sugar cube. When placed in a humid environment, it absorbs liquid from the air and becomes "wet." Source operates similarly. A special material powered by solar panels condenses water from the air. The water undergoes multiple purification stages and is enriched with essential microelements and calcium.

One Source unit can produce enough water to meet the drinking needs of a family of four to five people. It is worth noting that the underlying technology of Source, while impactful, has been utilized in household air conditioners for many years.

The key advantage of this system is its ability to operate on solar power. This feature enables the installation of Source even in remote areas without established infrastructure or access to the electrical grid.

Currently, the device is undergoing trials in regions with diverse climates in Jordan, the United States, Ecuador, and Mexico. Upon successful testing, Source could enter mass production in the near future. The creators assure that this milestone will mark another significant step towards overcoming the challenge of water scarcity.
