Experience Dining at Dhoni Sunset Bar and Restaurant on a Deserted Island
When it comes to great restaurants, delicious food, unique atmosphere, and friendly service are key. However, what if the restaurant is located on a deserted island?
Introducing Dhoni Sunset Bar and Restaurant – a newly opened dining spot on the uninhabited island of Lonubo, just 5 kilometers away from the popular resort of Maafushivaru in the Maldives.

The restaurant itself is set inside a traditional Maldivian watercraft called a "Dhoni." Guests can expect a luxurious ambiance with unique furniture, floral decorations, and flickering candles adorning the tables.
Watching the stunning sunset on Lonubo turns a romantic dinner into an unforgettable event for couples. The standard private dinner cost is $320, with additional menu options available.
Aside from the restaurant, visitors can explore the charms of the deserted island, measuring 500 meters in length. Activities include strolling or jogging on the soft white sand, exploring the surrounding beach reefs, or enjoying water bikes and kayaks.

The project creators anticipate the interest of a large number of tourists from Maafushivaru, easily reachable in just a few minutes via regular boat services.
