If life doesn't resemble a fairy tale, you can create that fairy tale yourself. That's what singers from Romania, Gabi and Razvan Vasile, believe.

A Dream Turned Into Reality

The couple sold their own home in Bucharest and, in 2004, began constructing a real castle with hotel and entertainment complex features. The picturesque setting lies in the valley of the Southern Carpathians, near Mount Fagaras, just 40 km from Sibiu, Romania.

A Charming Architectural Marvel

The enchanting castle turns fairy tales into reality. Its design feels straight out of a Grimm brothers' tale, with curved roofs, oval wooden doors, and tiny windows. Yet, it was all brought to life by Ileana Mavrodin, a renowned eco-architect in Europe.

A Magical Escape

Gabi and Razvan are proponents of "fairy-tale realism" and completely shunned modern technologies in the castle's construction. Wood, clay, straw, and sand were the sole components involved in creating this castle-hotel. Visitors can enjoy the stay in one of the 10 unforgettable rooms.

A Place of Intrigue

Gnomes would gladly inhabit this place, but it also piques the interest of regular folks. The castle's Facebook page boasts around 30,000 followers without any monetary investment in advertising! The whimsical design and originality undoubtedly played a significant role.

Believers in Magic and Commercial Success

Interestingly, the couple not only believes in miracles but also possesses a commercial edge. The official opening of the property is slated right after the completion and launch of an entertainment area for guests, which will include at least a garden and a restaurant.

Fun fact: Fairy-tale constructions are popular worldwide. For example, in the Netherlands, there's a magical house in the "Magical Forest," while in the rural areas of Minnesota, USA, an entire village made up of tiny houses has been created.
