We all fondly remember the fantastic movies we watched back in our childhood. At that time, all those strange robots, flying cars, and other whimsical means of transport seemed like pure imagination to us. We couldn't even imagine what the future would really be like. However, as time passed, looking back, these "machines" no longer seem so unreal because what humans are creating now is much more expansive and grandiose than what was previously imagined by fiction writers.
How often in life do we face choices when we need to buy something? Previously, we had to prioritize, thinking about buying a new item to understand what is more necessary at the moment - a new phone because the previous model was outdated, a video camera, or a camera. Often, we want everything at once, such is human nature, but it's not always possible due to financial constraints, and lugging around all this wealth is not very convenient.
Today, this problem is already solved because modern gadgets have emerged that contain all the necessary functions. The price, of course, corresponds, but there is no need to carry a bunch of items that would take up all the space in the bag. As for vehicles, new concepts constantly emerge in this field, serving as transformers of sorts, where instead of one vehicle, you get two, or even several.
"Octuri Wind Powered Yacht" - Yacht or Airplane
The idea to create a yacht-airplane came to designer and engineer Yelken Octuri. He found something in common between the wings of an airplane and the sails of a yacht, leading him to think of a transformer transport that could sail and, if desired, take off. Thus, the project "Octuri Wind Powered Yacht" was born, merging the elements of a yacht and an airplane.
The concept involves rotating the ship's sails horizontally to transform them into airplane wings. This concept, based on the structure of seaplanes, was presented at the Paris Air and Space Museum. The exhibition was a huge success, capturing the interest of not only professionals but also ordinary people. However, to bring such a seemingly crazy idea to life, sponsors willing to take the risk are necessary. Nevertheless, implementing this project in the near future seems quite feasible.
"Light Weight Concept" - Car with Motorcycles instead of Wheels
Another two-in-one concept, a conceptual car with its rear wheels being two full-fledged motorcycles. The idea of the electric vehicle "Light Weight Concept" belongs to Bobin Kil. This car is very economical, light, and, like all conceptual vehicles, it is environmentally friendly, so environmentalists need not worry.
Solar panels cover the entire surface of the car, allowing the batteries to charge not only from electrical grids but also from solar energy. Each wheel of this car is equipped with its own motor. By making it detachable and equipping it with its own battery, control system, and various electronics, an independent single-wheel motorcycle was obtained. In appearance and form, it is an analog of "Ryno Motors" that exists in reality.
"Atreides Yacht" - Yacht with a Pool
As they say, the rich have their quirks, and it's evident that just a luxurious yacht is no longer enough. Now, owners of expensive vessels want more, to flaunt the presence of a pool on board. Why not? It's just that space becomes significantly reduced, causing discomfort to both the owner and guests.
Designer Vuk Dragovic proposed a solution to this problem with his concept yacht "Atreides Yacht." It has impressive dimensions and, in addition to a dozen bedrooms, features rooms for the service staff, a kitchen, a dining area, and relaxation zones. However, with such grandeur no longer surprising anyone, the yacht's main feature became the retractable pool located at the lower part of its rear side. Since the pool sits inside the ship's hull most of the time, free space remains unaltered. To use it, just press a button for extension and another for water fill-up.
The pool is filled with water from the body of water where the yacht is currently located, precisely up to the level of the sea or ocean. This creates the feeling of swimming directly in that body of water, sparing you from being left behind or eaten by sharks. Solar panels on the ship's roof generate energy to power all its systems and mechanisms, ensuring good speed. Such a yacht has all the potential to become a second home for the very wealthy, as it's affordable for only a select few.
Transparent Passenger Plane by "Airbus"
The idea of creating a transformative transport vehicle is no longer new. But how about a "glass" airplane? The renowned aircraft manufacturer "Airbus" unveiled its new project to the public, expected to be realized no earlier than 2050.
The developers claim that realizing this idea will revolutionize flights. It will not be just transportation from point A to point B, but a captivating journey where you can see the entire globe beneath your feet and enjoy the most unexpected landscapes.
The aircraft cabin is also planned to be equipped with a neural network allowing it to assess passenger needs and respond through an integrated "intelligent interface." Ordering various additional functions will be possible, including adapting the seat to the individual's body characteristics.
In addition to this, "Airbus" representatives shared that new airliners will no longer have class divisions. Instead, special zones will provide a recharge with various vitamins and energy, as well as ample breathing of enriched air and enjoyment of aromatherapy or acupuncture.
It is also important that the cabin will be made from recycled materials, and the electricity needed to service the transport will be generated from the heat emitted by passengers' bodies. It's still early to say if new technologies will improve the ecological state of the current world, but it's hopeful to believe in it.
