Many harmful effects of electromagnetic waves on people are due to modern technological advances: computers, mobile phones, the internet, and much more. This inevitably leads to physical exhaustion, fatigue, insomnia, and overall health deterioration.
Unfortunately, in our cities, homes, and offices, there is a lack of natural elements. Yet, we all yearn to breathe fresh oxygen, enjoy the coolness of green forests, fields, and the aroma of various herbs and flowers.
In one of our articles, we have previously addressed the issues of indoor air pollution and an effective solution - air purifiers. These devices are also linked to an intriguing business idea. This time, we will explore a similar topic but from a different angle.
Due to the limited availability of fresh air in big cities, people have turned to aromatherapy and chromotherapy within indoor spaces for enhancing well-being and fostering health.
Engaging in a business centered around crafting herbal pillows for health maintenance involves studying the therapeutic properties of essential herbs, their health benefits, indications, and contraindications. It is advisable to personally handle herbs to be knowledgeable about their properties, know how to gather and package them. Herbs should be dried in the shade, not finely ground, stored away from moisture, and used within a year for optimal freshness. The aroma must be pleasant to ensure effectiveness.
Some vital herbs for making herbal pillows include yarrow, St. John's wort, savory, mint, geranium, common hawthorn, thyme, lemon balm, pharmacy chamomile, wormwood, birch leaves, and eucalyptus.
Mint and geranium pillows regulate heart function. Birch leaves and eucalyptus strengthen bronchi, wormwood and chamomile alleviate stress. Birch leaves, St. John's wort, savory, and sage boost immunity. Hops and thyme aid in treating insomnia. Peppermint enhances brain activity, reduces agitation, and promotes relaxation. Elderflower blossoms are added for colds and headaches.
Herb pillow filling combinations include:
- Wormwood - 2 parts, chamomile - ½ part, mint - 1 part, lemon balm - 1 part;
- Yarrow - 1 part, chamomile - 1 part, rosemary - 3 parts;
- Thyme - 1 part, mint - 1 part, walnut leaf - 2 parts, pine needles - 2 parts.
These pillows can also be used for children, filled with chamomile, savory, mint, lemon balm, and verbena, promoting calm sleep. They are placed nearby while sleeping, not directly underneath. To maintain the aroma and therapeutic properties, store the herbal pillow in a plastic bag after use.
The pillow casing should be made of linen or cotton. You can create your own design for a unique touch. Pillow sizes range from 10x10 cm to 25x25 cm. For sale, packaging in zip-lock polyethylene bags is recommended. Good luck!
