Oksana Sivukha, originally from Belarus, believes that the main factor hindering people from fully realizing themselves in a new country is loneliness and the lack of support. Oksana even considered moving to a different state, despite her fondness for New York. However, after enduring such a strenuous and lengthy journey, giving up easily was not an option. The thought of relocating was halted by the realization of having to rebuild her life yet again—making new friends, adjusting to a different routine, changing her son's school, and so on. Finally, her job search paid off, and she landed a nursing position at a Russian medical office.

From that point on, her career trajectory soared. With the required work experience in hand, she effortlessly switched employers several times, continuously advancing her skills. Today, Oksana is completely satisfied with her situation and her prospects. She believes that America gave her opportunities her homeland couldn't provide. Consequently, she considers the U.S. her number one home! Despite all the hardships, she felt that here, through education, perseverance, and resilience, success was inevitable!
