After the adaptation of iconic works by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien into films, various items related to this fantasy universe have become extremely popular among millions of people. Numerous fans of the film series have wanted to acquire replicas of the One Ring, weapons, armor, and accessories shown in the movies. For many entrepreneurs, this interest from the mass consumer market has allowed them to build a serious business. And now a new trend has emerged – the construction of individual houses and entire settlements in the style of hobbit "homes under the hill." We are not just talking about small children's playhouses, but rather about entirely real residential buildings.
Such houses are being constructed all over the world, for personal use as well as for organizing hotels or entertainment attractions within them. These unique buildings are quite popular. However, until recently, they could only be built in hilly terrains. That was until the Mexican company GreenMagicHome introduced an entirely new concept of building hobbit houses, thanks to which one can create a viable business idea.
Modular Buildings by GreenMagicHome
The main allure of the new concept lies in the fact that such houses can be built on any type of landscape. These buildings are assembled in a modular manner – individual parts are made of reinforced polymer, creating dome-shaped spaces. These individual spaces can be interconnected, forming a house with a configuration as complex as the future owner desires.
To connect the parts, steel fastening elements are used. Windows and doors are made of aluminum double-glazed units resistant to moisture. The modules have channels for engineering communications: electrical wiring, communication cables, plumbing, and ventilation.
The modules are installed on level ground, and after they are connected, they are covered with a layer of soil and turf – thus, the house isn't built inside a hill, but the hill is formed around the finished house. The topsoil provides stability to the structure and acts as additional thermal insulation. The construction work takes no more than three days. And the cost of the house is only $500!!!
How to Utilize this Concept for a Business Idea
Naturally, ordering such modular constructions all the way from Mexico is not very practical. However, by understanding the principles of such eco-friendly construction, one can easily set up production in our country. Of course, consideration must be given to the local climate – designing a heating system and optimizing insulation.
After establishing such production, similar houses can be sold to people who wish to have affordable environmentally friendly housing. Imagine – how many summer cottage owners would want to have such a house on their plot instead of an unassuming shack!
Moreover, from these modular structures, one can build a unique hotel in a picturesque location. Imagine if such a house is furnished with antique items and wooden tableware, it could create an equivalent of a hobbit house. Many adults and children would want to spend a vacation in such a magical place. So, if you also love the universe created by Professor Tolkien, you can earn from this idea while enjoying genuine pleasure.
If you enjoyed this article, share it with your friends – perhaps they too would like to get such a house or start a business selling these modular buildings.
