Manufacturing OSB Panels
With the advancement of new technologies in construction, innovative building materials continue to emerge. A recent development in the timber industry is the introduction of a novel approach to manufacturing wood strand boards. Known as OSB (oriented strand board), this breakthrough first emerged in Canada in 1982 and quickly gained traction in the market. The business concept behind producing this upgraded board allowed the Canadian plant "Edison-OSB" to present a new construction material akin to high-quality plywood.
