The Future of Solar Panels on Roads in the United States

The primary emphasis currently lies in enhancing solar panels. For instance, in China, there are ongoing developments in solar panels that work even during rainy weather.

The United States is also proactive in proposing innovative solutions for integrating solar panels into the daily lives of its population. In Missouri, along Route 66, they are planning to install a road with a special surface made of solar panels to enhance the convenience of driving electric vehicles.

Solar Panels in Road Construction

Route 66 is just one of the regions in the U.S. where such solar panel surfaces will be implemented. The Free Thought Project initiative, spearheaded by Claire Bernish, extends to several regions in the U.S. with the aim of providing electricity for electric vehicles and promoting their widespread use in the country.

The head of the transportation department in Missouri fully supports this initiative, stating that the government is prepared to assist in constructing the road and hopes it will be operational by the end of the year.

The panel design consists of hexagons that can interact with each other and the main hub. One advantage of these panels is the ability to replace each panel without disrupting the rest of the structure or impeding traffic flow on the entire road.
