Introducing a New Type of Footwear for Horses
Despite their apparent benefits, horseshoes can cause a lot of discomfort to horses. Hammering nails into the animal's hoof to put them on can be painful, not to mention the inconvenience of them getting lost and the hindrance they pose when the horse walks on rough terrain. Austrian animal welfare advocates took on this challenge and developed the MegasusHorserunners to address this issue.
