The issue of plastic pollution in the World Ocean is one of the most critical challenges facing our civilization. Unfortunately, it remains largely unseen by the majority of people, making it difficult to grasp the extent of this environmental crisis firsthand. However, satellite imaging helps us gauge the size and annual growth of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
