To start production in volume, you will need:

1. A reliable manual machine ranging from $350 to $500. High-quality machines are essential for ensuring sufficient sales volume. Automated machines start at $8,500, with additional machines costing around $3,000.

2. Rental space, ranging from $150 to $800 initially, is a significant factor to consider.

3. Material supplies. Opting for direct suppliers or manufacturers for knitting yarn is more cost-effective than retail purchases. Imported materials come at a higher cost due to quality differences.

4. Products. Starting production with high-demand items like socks, mittens, and hats is recommended. Even a manual machine can produce around 300 pieces of such items.

5. Sales. The most crucial aspect of running a production business is selling the clothing. Consider collaborating with major retailers initially or eventually setting up your own outlet. Partnering with large outlets specializing in winter wear can be advantageous.

However, creating designs independently may not always align with public preferences.

Advertising plays a significant role in growth. Alongside partnerships with major stores, allocating inventory for independent sales is beneficial. Crafting engaging slogans can facilitate online or on-site sales. Distributing catalogs to potential customers and stores, as well as participating in trade shows, can boost sales substantially.
