What sets Brandless apart is the absence of any brand names in its catalog. Instead of fancy packaging and marketing jargon, customers are presented with a straightforward description of the product's features.
The creators of Brandless aim to provide their customers with high-quality products at fair prices. They claim that manufacturers typically mark up prices by 50-350%. Essentially, customers end up paying for marketing campaigns, brand promotion, and fancy packaging. To counter this, Brandless decided to set a flat and affordable price for all products - $3.
Brandless mainly offers food products and cosmetics, with a strong emphasis on excluding any items that could be harmful to health. You won't find any GMO-containing products at Brandless. All items are natural and made from environmentally friendly ingredients. The same principle applies to their cosmetics, as the company purposely avoids over four hundred harmful substances commonly found in regular beauty products.
