While markets in popular products are currently flooded with various suppliers, it's not impossible to invest there. You can always create your own in-demand product, as long as it's innovative and different from your concurents.
A Unique Business Idea Success Story
An example of such a case is the chocolate business by Flo Broton, an ordinary housewife from England living in a small village. One Christmas, Flo wanted to surprise her friends with gifts, but she didn't have the money, so she decided to make a gift herself. Chocolate tic-tac-toe - that's what the English housewife came up with as a gift. Indeed, everyone was surprised and suggested her to seriously consider starting a business producing such "original" chocolates.
Taking advice into account, she did just that. At a culinary exhibition in her village, she decided to create a couple of sets of "tic-tac-toes". It was a complete success. Right after the exhibition, she had plenty of orders, and thoughts were swirling in her head on how to manage it all.
Starting Production and Establishing a Company
To tackle this task, she needed her father's help. They bought equipment and set it up in the kitchen, founding the company Choc on Choc. Over time, they created a website where they sold "unique chocolates". After successfully establishing their firm, Flo and her father shifted from working independently to hiring local residents.
The steadily growing company delights its customers with new quality and original chocolate products. Everything is handcrafted, making the product more valuable and original. Flo's creativity didn't stop at tic-tac-toes; soon, they started producing various chocolate shapes: shoes, pears, wine bottles, strawberries, holiday-themed shapes, and more.
The company, created in the kitchen, gained immense popularity, with Choc on Choc chocolates selling not only in England but also across all European countries, Japan, and the United States.
